What’s the “IT” factor & how do you get "IT"?

What’s the “IT” factor and how do you get "IT"? I'm interested in your insights.

Some people seem to walk into a room and command attention. Their confidence, charisma, and presence are undeniable. They have that elusive "IT" factor. But what is it really and why do some have it while others don’t?

Here’s what I think... The "IT" factor isn’t something you’re born with—it’s something you develop. It’s a combination of mindset, skillset, and how you show up.

Here’s what I believe separates those who have "IT" from those who don’t:

Clarity of Purpose: They know who they are, what they stand for, and where they’re going. Their confidence comes from deep self-awareness and alignment with their goals.

Continuous Growth: They invest in themselves. They sharpen their skills, expand their knowledge, and seek feedback to improve.

Authenticity: They don’t try to be someone they’re not. People with "IT" connect because they’re real, relatable, and unapologetically themselves.

Energy & Presence: They bring positive energy into every interaction. Their focus is on making others feel seen and valued.

Action-Oriented: They don’t just dream—they DO. They take consistent action, even when it’s hard, and lead by example.

If you want the "IT" factor, start by working on you. Develop the mindset, habits, and presence of someone who’s magnetic, purposeful, and unstoppable.

Here’s your challenge: What’s one thing you can do today to sharpen your “IT” factor?
